Description'I am so sorry I could not be present at the meeting of the Zoology Committee yesterday, but owing to my stupidity I had fixed two meetings for the same hours.' [Author is a Secretary of the Royal Society, but his signature is not visible. Secretaries at the time were Sir William Bate Hardy, FRS and Sir James Hopwood Jeans, FRS].
