TitleCopy letter from Edwin Deller, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society; to Dr. D. V. Korteweg; Amsterdam
Date30 August 1920
DescriptionRegretfully informs Dr. D. V. Korteweg that he has been unable to trace either of the two pamphlets by [Christian] Huygens. Notes that the earlier one (1656) likely never came to the Society's Library as it is dated too early for their correspondence, while the latter (1665) one may have been lost. Suggests he enquire with Oxford and Cambridge, but notes that the liklihood of finding copies of either pamphlet in England are slight.
