TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Michael Foster, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date8 October 1892
DescriptionLord Rayleigh [John William Strutt] will be in Scotland until 26th but Rix supposes Foster will doubtless have the Committee on the 20th all the same.

In accordance with the notice in today's 'Times', Rix has applied to Macmillan for tickets to Tennyson's funeral. If any are granted Rix wonders if he should send Foster one. Rix does not suppose he shall obtain a ticket but he should like to attend, even with the 'common herd'.
