Date4 March 1892
Description'Herewith Mr Burch's plates for press. Can they not be printed in brown? The black is rather startling. We have had the same kind of curves done before in a sort of chocolate brown (see Phil. Trans. [Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society] 1888) & they look much better'.
