TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Mr Pilbeam, Manager, Whitehall Rooms
Date31 October 1892
DescriptionThe Dinner Committee has now met and Rix is able to give Pilbeam further particulars [concerning the Anniversary dinner].

The guarantee will be as before for 100 guests. The three kinds of admission cards will be as before and Rix encloses specimens for the doorkeeper [not attached]. Payments will be made upon the tickets collected by the doorkeeper. The same arrangement as to cigars will be followed this year with the Society's own men bringing them down after dinner, Rix asks if Pilbeam will let his man follow with a light. The Committee has decided to limit the after dinner proceedings to tea in the reception room. The cost of this will probably not be large and Rix asks to know what it will be. The Society's clerk will, as before, be there to supply tickets to those who have lost or left them behind.
