TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Messrs Clay & Sons, University Press, Cambridge
Date8 November 1892
DescriptionRix notes a rather serious error in volume nine of the 'Catalogue of Scientific Papers'; the papers of the two Elliotts, who share the same initials, have been mixed. The Society wishes to have a small erratum slip to be inserted into such copies as they can get hold of. Rix encloses herewith the manuscript from which he shall be glad if the Messrs will print such a slip. Asks to see a proof of the slip before printing. Annotated by hand regarding where the slip should be inserted.
