TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Mrs J L Evans, 157 Elmwood Avenue, Buffalo, New York, United States of America
Date8 March 1892
DescriptionThe Royal Society is very busy at this time so Rix cannot answer in full but the history of the Society is brought down to the present time in Rix's article in the ninth edition of the 'Encyclopedia Britannica'. He encloses a list of the present Council and a card of meetings for this session [not attached]. There was a fine of eight pence on Evan's letter and it would cost six pence to sedt the small balance so he spends it instead on a list of Fellows, sent separately by book post.
