TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor James Thomson, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date14 March 1892
DescriptionThey shall require 1500 copies of the plate to illustrate Thomson's Bakerian lecture but before giving the lithographer the order for this number, Rix must ask him for a revise with the addition of certain lettering and a specimen of the plate paper which the lithographer means to use. Enclosed is a waste proof plate and Thomson's own proof with the headline penciled on it [not attached]. The volume number and plate number Rix will send once he gives the order for printing off. If Thomson were to put Rix in touch with his lithographer Rix would not have to trouble him further.
