TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Archibald Liversidge, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date14 March 1892
DescriptionIn reply to Liversidge's letter they will in future send the list of candidates and the list of Fellows by post as soon as issued. In respect of the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society' they cannot make an exception, the regulation being that only those within the Postal Union can have them sent direct. The Royal Society would be quite willing to deliver them to Trubner & Company number by number but the firm declines to receive them in that manner and infrequently sends their messenger instead.
