DescriptionAdverting to their interview and Zelonoy's letter from the Russian Marine Ministry Scientific Committee at St Petersburg, dated 21 March 1892, Rix has finally consulted the library Committee regarding the proposed exchange. The Committee already send the Royal Society's publications to four institutions in St Petersburg and do not feel themselves able to extend their list. They have pleasure however in presenting the Committee with a volume of the Fort Rae Observations and this volume will shortly be sent to Zelonoy for transmission.
