TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Frank Clowes, University College, Nottingham
Date11 April 1892
DescriptionThe Royal Society does not invite the Professor of Engineering as a rule and Rix must not issue an invitation without authorisation but will submit Professor Robinson's name to the Officers. Rix does not understand Clowes' postscript about having asked for two tickets. The application for an invitation for Mr Waters names no second ticket so far as Rix can see.
