TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to the London Electric Supply Corporation Limited, 3 Adelphi Terrace
Date30 April 1892
DescriptionReplying to the Company's letter of 28 April, Rix thinks they must have overlooked the fact that they already supply current to the Post Office in Burlington House. All that is required is to run temporary mains from the Post Office to the Royal Society. Asks the Company to communicate at once with Mr Pyke of Pyke & Harris and let him know whether there is any difficulty with this. The Society's own engineers could run the temporary mains if necessary.
