DescriptionThe Treasurer, [John Evans], wishes Rix to ask Dyer to send a messenger with one of the Royal Society's large portraits [Robert Boyle] down to Oxford one day this week. The portrait is to be lent for a conversazione but the Treasurer wishes it to be taken and brought back by a special messenger. Rix will let him know which day shortly but it will probably be Wednesday or Thursday.
