TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Michael Foster
Date26 May 1892
DescriptionMr [Edward Bagnall] Poulton was to exhibit the scales of moths showing degeneration in lantern. This was put off from May by order of Committee. This makes one more lantern exhibit which Rix did not mention. At the May Committee it was also suggested that Professor [James] Dewar should be asked to show solid oxygen at the June conversazione and Rix supposes he would be right in now asking him. Professor William Crawford Williamson has just called to offer sections of coal plants shown as transparencies with light reflected from a mirror and Rix asks if he should accept.
