TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Messrs Smith & Oakley
Date21 June 1892
DescriptionRegarding Ground Rent on Wharton Road.

In making a claim for return of income-tax the Royal Society has had to furnish particulars of rent received from 5 April 1883. Rix quotes information received from their accountant on Whaton Road rents. The Commissioners write that they cannot trace Wharton Terrace and ask for fuller addresses and names of tenants, which Rix asks the Messrs to provide. Rix believes Wharton Terrace was the original name of the property, but was afterwards swallowed up in Wharton Road and the houses renumbered.
