TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to the Secretary, Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge, Northumberland Avenue, W.C.
Date20 July 1892
DescriptionIn reply to the Secretary's letter of yesterday, Rix will at once have clichés made of all the blocks mentioned in the list.

Those taken from Professor Frankland's own papers shall be delivered without delay. The block taken from Professor Tyndall's paper cannot be delivered until the Society is assured that the Secretary has Tyndall's permission. The curve in 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' volume XLII, plate three, is not a block, but a lithograph by West, Newman & Company. It is not at all likely to still be on the stone and so they cannot therefore supply this.
