TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Lord Rayleigh [John William Strutt]
Date22 July 1892
DescriptionRix goes on holiday on 30 July.

Captain Abney wrote desiring Rix to withhold the Colour Vision summons but has not told Rix to what date to postpone. Rix has just sent Abney proofs of the letters from the Board of Trade, which indicates that a Committee will be summoned shortly.

The publication work is well forward. If it proves inconvenient for Rayleigh to come to town before Rix leaves, Rix can make out a list of papers on hand with the stages they have reached, and leave it with Mr White.

Annotated that Captain Abney has telegraphed to say Wed 2.30 for the Colour Vision Committee.
