TitleCopy letter from Theodore E James, to Professor Thomas George Bond Howes, Royal College of Science
Date2 August 1892
DescriptionThe 'Catalogue of Scientific Papers' is not included among the publications of the Royal Society to which Fellows lay claim, hence it has not been sent to Professor [Thomas Henry] Huxley, and Huxley is not on the volume IX free list.

A good while ago Huxley sent a card saying he should purchase volumes IX-XI when out, but the Society supposes Huxley has not done so. On the back of the current number of the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]', Howes will find particulars regarding the 'Catalogue', and see that applications to purchase should be addressed to Messrs Clay & Sons.
