TitleCopy letter from Theodore E James, to Professor William Abbott Herdman, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date15 August 1892
DescriptionIn the absence of Mr Rix, Herdman's letter has come to James. There is no allocation of grants from the Government Fund in September, this is made annually in May, but grants may be made from time to time during the year as applications arise, and if it is thought necessary that research should receive immediate aid instead of waiting. There will not be a Council meeting now until October, James encloses a form of application.
