DescriptionInforms the Secretary that in 1899 a portion of the fund raised by the international subsoription as a memorial to the late Dr. [James Prescott] Joule was trasferred to the Society for funding a Joule Studentship. Provides details of the regulations for administering the proceeds and notes that now, in accordance with regulation three, offers the studentship for award to students in Austria by the Akademie der Wissenschaften. Asks the Secretary if the Akademie is willing to undertake this duty.
