DescriptionInforms Sir Frank [Watson] Dyson that the Government Board Comittee B recently considered the application of the Joint Permanent Eclipse Committee and resolved that he be invited to the meeting of the General Committee on March 16th to discuss this. Notes that the applications this year total £9300, which is double the amount available in their fund. Notes, therefore, that the Board have provisionally recommended a grant to the Eclipse Committee of £950 only, which ought to finance the first Expedition.
