DescriptionInforms Sir Arthur Schuster that the Board of Trade have stated that, according to the French Government, the Sixth General Conference of Weights and Measures under the Metric Convention of 1875 will take place in Paris in September next. Explains that the Board of Trade have suggested a preliminary meeting of British delegates to consider what Great Britain's attitudes towards the proposals will be, and have asked the Society to nominate one or two representatives to attend. Asks Sir Schuster what he thinks ought to be done in regard to this.
