Title | Copy letter from James Hopwood Jeans, Secretary of the Royal Society; to F. Tavani Esquire; 92 Loughborough Road, Brixton, S.W.9. |
Date | 28 April 1921 |
Description | Informs Mr. F. Tavani that he has received his note on 'Physical space and hyperdimensions', however, cannot himself communicate it. Explains that there is a Regulaiton which states that a note of scientific nature can only be communicated by a Fellow who is himself an expert in the branch of science which the note concerns itself with. Suggests that Mr. Tavani send his note to another Mathematician who is better acquainted with the subject, and mentions [Godfrey Harold] Hardy and [Arthur Stanley] Eddington as possibilities. |
