Informs Sir Richard [Tetley] Glazebrook that [Thomas Ralph] Merton's report on the paper by F. C. Toy, 'The photographic efficiency of heterogeneous light', suggests its publication in a much abridged form. Also informs him of two new papers, one by Professor E. Taylor Jones, J. D. Morgan and Professor Wheeler, 'The ignition of gases by electric sparks', and one by [Harold Baily] Dixon, [Colin] Campbell and [A.] Parker, 'The velocity of sound in gases at high temperatures'. Discusses possible referees for each paper. |
