DescriptionInforms the Under Secretary that Mr. Sheppard, a Hebrew scholar, has traced an important Hebrew Bible, 'Kenn. Codex 128', which was once the property of the Society, to the Library of the India Office. Explains that Mr. Sheppard is of the belief that this Bible should be in the British Museum. Asks the Under Secretary if he may apply for its return in order that the Society may deposit it in the British Museum.
