Title | Copy letter from James Hopwood Jeans, Secretary of the Royal Society; to Sir William [Henry] Bragg, FRS |
Date | 13 June 1921 |
Description | Refers to the two papers by Wood and Young, '"Light Body" hydrophones' and 'The acoustic disturbances produced by small bodies in plane waves transmitted through water'. Explains that the Physics Committee are recommending the former for publication in the 'Proceedings' and recommending the latter for publication on the grounds that it 'substantially' comply with the recommendations of the referees. Asks Sir William [Henry] Bragg to enquire whether the authors would be willing to do this. |
