TitleCopy letter from James Hopwood Jeans, Secretary of the Royal Society; to Professor [Cargill Gilston] Knott, FRS
Date12 July 1921
DescriptionInforms Professor [Cargill Gilston] Knott that shortly after he sent him McAulay's paper, 'Multentions and differential invariants, part II', for report, the enclosed addition arrived [not enclosed]. Comments that this addition confirmed his suspicion that McAulay is sending the Society chapters of a book in installments. Notes that, unless there is anything unusually valuable, there is no case for the Society to undertake the expense of printing these installments.
