TitleCopy letter from Arthur Schuster, Foreign Secretary of the Royal Society; to Stephen Gaselee Esquire [Librarian and Keeper of the Papers at the] Foreign Office
Date11 November 1921
DescriptionExpresses his confidence that the Society would support Mr. Stephen Gaselee in his efforts to secure a better knowledge of the publications of British men of science abroad. Notes that men of science abroad already read various British journals, however, there is little by the way of general science books available to them. Agrees that approaching publishers with this issue would helpful and suggests that, if he wants the formal help of the Society, he communicate with Mr. [James Hopwood] Jeans.
