Notes that he is unclear as to what these Supplementary Books are, and that this could only be ascertained through a comparison between them and the original Letter Books, which the Library staff have not yet had time to do. Also notes that there is a large contemporary manuscript index to all these early record books which it might be worth Mr. Gaythorpe consulting. |
