Notes that the Society would be willing to appoint a member of the supervising Committee, provided that the Institution of Civil Engineers, the Institution of Electrical Engineers, the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, the Institution of Mining and Metallurgy, the Institution of Naval Architecture and the Iron and Steels Institute do the same. Adds that Professor [Henry Cort Harold] Carpenter has expressed his interest to serve as the Society's representative.
