DescriptionInforms the Secretary that the Society has received a request for assistance from the Akademie der Wissenschaften. Explains that Dr. Rudolph Poch, former Professor of Anthropology, left in his Will twenty steel common shares to the Akademie for carrying out future scientific work. Notes that these shares were bought in London and deposited with the London Joint City and Midland Bank, and that the Akademie are now asking for the Society's support in requesting that they are gifted these shares back. Expresses their endorsement of the Akademie's cause and expresses hope that the Clearing Office will see their way to meet it.
