Date22 March 1923
DescriptionInforms Professor [Horace] Lamb that the report on Miss [Dorothy M.] Wrinch's paper, 'The laterial vibrations of bars of variable cross-section', was favourable, though recommended abridgement to about four pages of the 'Proceedings'. Notes that this report is more favourable to printing than Professor Lamb is himself, and asks whether he is willing to pass it under Standing Order 43 or if he would prefer to decline to publish.
