DescriptionSends copies of letters [not enclosed] concerning the appointment of [Sir William Boog] Leishman to the General Committee of the Imperial Research Fund; asks for these to be placed before people who know nothing of Leishman's appointment; mentions difficulty in getting in contact with the President [Charles Scott Sherrington] as his house is not connected to the telephone line; left a message with one of the assistants of the labortory; includes a p.s. in that the President will only be able to attend the meeting on 25 June and suggestion from him that it should be postphoned for a week or so to allow Sir Archibald [Edward] Garrod to attend.
