DescriptionStates that James Hopwood Jeans is glad Ernest Rutherford can attend the meeting of 13 March to speak on the three papers by Bieler, Bates and Rogers, ['The large-angle scattering of a-particles by light nuclei' and Particles of Long Range Emitted by the Active Deposits of Radium, Thorium and Actinium'] but regrets that N. Ahmad's paper 'Absorption of hard x-rays by elements' will not be able to be read as 6 papers are already being read that day, a rule which has nevere been broken. Mentions the paper will be read at the April Proceedings paper. Also informs that Blackett's letter will be placed before the Council in 3 April.
