TitleCopy letter from James Hopwood Jeans, Secretary of the Royal Society; to Sir Richard Glazebrook, FRS
Date14 March 1924
DescriptionInforms Richard Glazebrook that after a lot of correspondence, Richardson has decided to stay at King's College and made terms identical to those which Fowler made with the College of Science. States that the final details were to be agreed between Glazebrook and James Hopwood Jeans and as there has been no definite answer until recently, Glazebrook was not consulted. Sends a letter [not enclosed] written by [Ernest] Barker on behalf of King's College stating that Richardson agrees to the terms, although states no letter has arrived from Richardson. Asks for approval to get the necessary letter from Richardson and make an announcement.
