DescriptionIn response and following on from a telegram sent to J. Parick, gives more information about the deceased Sir William Macewen.; that he was elected a Fellow 13 June 1895 and signed the Charter book on 20 June. That his certificate of candidature was signed by 14 Fellows, who are Lord Lister, Sir David Ferrier, Sir William Turner, John Cleland, F. O. Bower, Sir Thomas Fraser, Sir George Humprey, Sir Victor Horsley, McKendrick, Sire William Gairdner, Sir Watson Cheyne, Alfred Newton, Alexander Macalister, Sir Lauder Brunton, and Charlton Bastian. Also that Macewen published 2 papers in Proceedings 'IV. Observations concerning transplantation of bone' and 'Communication on regeneration of bone' and 1 in Transactions 'The role of the various elements in the development and regeneration of bone'.
