Johnson has been sent to [Alfred] Fowler on the communicator, [Thomas Ralph] Merton's request, asks for permission to publish it in the event of a favourable report. That [John Cunningham] McLennan has asked back the paper 'The band spectrum of Potassium' by Grayson Smith and notes that he seems aggrieved. Sends, as suggested by Strutt, the paper 'The 27-day period (interval) terrestrial magnetic disturbance' by Rev. [Aloysius Laurence] Cortie. Suggests a paper by [Edward Mortimer] Crowther and [Amar Nath] Puri, 'The indirect measurement of the aqueous vapour-pressure of capillary systems by the freezing-point depression of benzene', communicated by Sir John Russell, be given to Strutt's Committee to report on and for each referee to state an opinion on whether to publish the paper in Series A or B of Proceedings.
