DescriptionUpdates that nearly all answers were favourbale to the purchase of the Sir John Banks Manuscripts, with even Sir Arthur Schuster writing in from Switzerland to offer to buy them and offer them to the Society. States that the letters have been viewed and found to be iincoming correspondence, therefore are not of interest to the Royal Society. Schuster has been updated that the Officers decided the matter did not need to be placed before the Council.
