DescriptionStates that a Soiree card has been sent to Mr. and Mrs. Spens. States gladness Rutherford will be able to come on 5 June for Kapitza's paper and that Ahmad's paper, 'On the absorption and scattering of y-rays' and 'The analysis of the absorption spectrum of napthalene vapour' by Henri and Laszlo, have been put down for reading. Ask Rutherford to say a few words about the papers in case the authors are unable to attend. Jeans informs Rutherford that he will be dining at the Club after the meeting and wonders where Birkenhead has gotten his physical information.
