DescriptionInforms [John Farquhar] Fulton that the Royal Society will be disappointed if the bid for Eliot's [Massachusetts American Indian] translation of the Bible ['Mamusse Wunneetupanatamwe Up-Biblum God' / the Algonquian Bible] and Baxter's 'Call to the Unconverted' does not exceed £150, and that the books were not originally sent by Eliot to [Robert] Boyle but presented to the Royal Society by Governor [of Connecticut, John] Winthrop (FRS) in 1669. Also discusses the 300th anniversary of Boyle's birth.
