TitleCopy letter from James Hopwood Jeans, Secretary of the Royal Society; to Dr. [Hans Friedrich] Gadow, FRS
Date18 January 1926
DescriptionInforms [Hans Friedrich] Gadow regarding the publication of Dr. Lindsay Johnson's paper. That Jeans will search for the missing Mounting Card among the surplus material and ask the Engravers if they have it. That the illustrations in the margins must be included if they are essential, but rearrangement of the plates will increase the page count for an already costly paper. States regret that Johnson cannot be at hand to advise. That Gadow's recommendation of reproducing figure from [Johnson's] book will be considered by the secretaries and Sectional Committee. States no subsidies have been received from Johnson and matter of the missing illustrations will have to be resolved later. Asks for the paper and the original material back once the corrections have been made.
