DescriptionInforms Sir Frank Dyson that an application for a grant of £200 has been received from the Optical Convention to aid it its publications. Agrees with Dyson's offer of a statement of accounts, so any questions by the Council regarding the application can be answered. Asks for confirmation that the total expenses of publication will be £900 and if any important paper will be left unpublished if the grant is denied. States that the Council will challenge this figure. Also asks for a sum of the Optical Convention profits made from subscriptions and admission fees.
