DescriptionStates that the Government of Jamaica has released Dr. A. W. Grace from his duties for 2 years for an investigation into the complications caused by filariasis and endemic nephritis. Also informs that the Governor of British Guiana [Guyana] is prepared to help by providing accommodation in Georgetown, clinical facilities, transport, and access to government medical stores and to post-mortem examinations. Officially offers the post and lists the conditions, including duration, expenses and the wages of Grace and an assistant if one is required. States the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine will provide half of Grace's salary. Letter is unsigned.
