DescriptionReplies that it was decided in December 1920 to keep 10 complete sets of the Challenger Report to distribute to countries represented on the International Council of the Exploration of the Sea, and did not already have copies. The Treasury could sell off the rest and states that as Messrs Quarritch were advertising them in their catalogues, this is what was done.
