TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Messrs Clay & Son, Ave Maria Lane
Date23 June 1893
DescriptionThe Catalogue Committee decided yesterday that all the copy which the Society has prepared for the index to the 'Catalogue of Scientific Papers' should be put into type and circulated among the members of the Committee next week. It will make a sheet or a sheet and a half. The train being so short Rix has sent the copy direct to Cambridge [University Press] with full instructions. He hopes they will return the printing by this day next week otherwise the Society cannot get the matter in hand this side of the long vacation. The three column specimen of type and style was the one chosen.
