TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Dr Müller, Ober Bibliothekar, Universitat, Jena
Date19 December 1892
DescriptionIn reply to Müller's letter of the 16th, volumes I to VIII of the 'Catalogue of Scientific Papers' were printed by Her Majesty's Government and the Royal Society had the right of nominating institutions for free-gift of the volumes. After volume VIII the Government ceased to print the work and it was continued as a private speculation by Messrs Clay & Sons, Ave Maria Lane. In consequence the Society has now only a very limited number of volumes at its disposal. Rix will mention Müller's request at the next meeting of the Committee, but cannot give much hope that they will be able to accede to it.
