TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to the Reverend Richard Owen, Sheen Lodge, S.W.
Date20 December 1892
DescriptionThe Royal Society's Senior Secretary, Professor Michael Foster, wishes if possible to attend to the funeral of the late Sir Richard Owen. Should a public funeral be arranged other Fellows of the Society would doubtless wish to attend so that the Society may fitly be represented at the obsequies of one who was so distinguished and valued a member of that body. Asks for a line once the place and time of the funeral are known.
