TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Michael Foster
Date20 December 1892
DescriptionRix has sent on to Mr [Andrew Ainslie] Common a letter from Sir Villiers Lister covering three dispatches, which requires immediate answer. Rix has asked Common to send Foster a rough draft of the answer that should be sent and to return the original documents to Rix. The letter relates to the proposed common organisation of the British and French Missions to Senegambia.

The Presidents of the Geological and Entomological Societies have both been in to ask what steps the Royal Society are taking about remunerating the Dean for a place in Westminster Abbey to lay the remains of Sir Richard Owen. Rix wonders if Foster has taken any steps. Asks for a telegram or wire on this subject.
