TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Theodore T Groom
Date24 December 1892
DescriptionGroom's paper was accepted for publication in the 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]' on the condition that the reproduction of the plates could be kept within a figure which the Society were willing to spend. The SOciety has obtained estimates but finds they considerably exceed the limit laid down by the Committee of Papers. The Society could however reproduce in a satisfactory style two thirds of the figures if Rix is willing to suppress the remainder. Rix sends today by registered post the whole of Groom's drawings so that he may select those he thinks most important.
