DescriptionIn reply to Trendell's letter of 14th January, Foster is directed by the President and Council of the Royal Society, that they have great pleasure in lending under the conditions set out in Trendell's letter, the two instruments therein named; Kater's Hygrometer and Appold's Condensing Hygrometer. They will be pleased to send, in like manner, any other meteorological instruments in their possession, a list of which is enclosed [not attached]. Asks for acknowledgment of receipt of each instrument borrowed. Annotated 'List of instruments inclosed: Nos. 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 19'.
